Level 1 "The Basics" On-Site Training

In "The Basics", on-site training, done in the convience of your own home, you will be given a tour of what the modern computer age and the Internet have to offer. You may already have an understanding of what exists on the Internet and many of the points mentioned below, but don't worry, our training courses are adjusted to suit your educational needs.

What To Expect

A Generic SE tech will show up onsite, armed with an essel, whiteboard and a laptop. The tech will ask you a few questions in regards to what you're wanting to learn from this training. Our goal is to over-deliver educational value and in order to do that, we need to understand your goals, so don't hesitate to ask anything! There are no dumb questions!

After asking questions from the particular training level worksheet the tech will start into the presentation. Depending upon your answers certain sections of training will be skipped and others elaborated on. Once again, the goal is to education YOU, so keep asking questions!

Do I need a computer?

No, however it is highly recommended you have access to a computer and the Internet, such that you're able to continue your education by visiting websites of interest and further explore the Internet. We also like to use your computer during the training so you're able to see first hand what it is capable of.

How long is the training?

All training courses are approximately 1 hour long. If needed the training can be broken into two 1-hour sections for an additional fee.

What if I'm a slow learner or I need more training?

Generic SE offers extended Level 1 training that is specifically suited to your educational desires. We also offer higher level training that extends into other categories such as online marketing, virtualized businesses and eCommerce.

Can my family and/or friends participate?

Yes! The base price includes up to 4 family members or friends. HOWEVER, since this training is for YOU please don't invite friends who might ask a lot of questions and derail YOUR education.
